Intensive Therapy for PTSD or Complex Trauma
(Prolonged Exposure (PE) Therapy and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET))
*10 sessions 90-minutes long of Prolonged Exposure Therapy are normally scheduled 1-3x/week for 10-12 weeks, at which point clients may transition to individual therapy, if needed.
Although I do not take insurance directly, many of my clients are covered by
- Cigna Global
- and Bupa Global
I am glad to provide paid invoices for clients to submit to their insurance companies. Typically, reimbursement occurs within 10 days and often faster. For anyone with a direct-referral plan, I ask that they check with their insurance provider for confirmation of coverage before beginning therapy. I do not currently accept UK private insurance, as they do not tend to cover therapists’ fees.
Payment is due at the time of your appointment, or in advance for Skype sessions, and may be paid by cash, bank transfer, or through the Pingit app to 07464798730 (which will come up as Box Tree Clinic). Alternatively, payment may be made by credit card or Paypal by clicking the ‘pay now’ button online just after booking your appointment or in your confirmation email. *Save 3% if not using Paypal/credit card.

NEW AND REGULAR APPOINTMENTS
You can book an appointment online using the book appointment button or email us to book an appointment manually. Weekly appointments for individuals generally last for 50 minutes or for 90 minutes for treatment of PTSD or Complex Trauma, but depending on a client’s needs, and particularly for personality issues and complex trauma it may be beneficial to meet more intensively.
The initial consultation is about exploring your needs and how I may be able to help you in a relaxed, open and confidential way. Feel free to raise any issues or questions concerning you. I will ask you some questions, but the session is not a test and rather will be more of an informal conversation.
It is a way for you to get to know me and for me to get a sense of understanding of how we can work together to achieve your goals. If you decide to go forward with therapy together, we can discuss progressing with weekly 50-minute therapy or intensive PTSD/Complex trauma therapy of 90-minutes each session.
Sometimes clients will come to me who have issues that are more within another therapist’s area of expertise. If this is the case, I will offer to refer them to another therapist.
MONDAY to FRIDAY

CANCELLATIONS AND BREAKS
Weekly therapy attendance is very important to progress. A slot is booked in advance for the meeting. I appreciate as much notice of cancellation as possible. Any missed sessions or cancellations will be charged at the full fee unless at least 48 hours notice is provided in advance. The waiting room is closed evenings and weekends, so you are be asked to meet your therapist at the exact appointment time for out-of-hours appointments.
I have a set of terms and conditions (including a cancellation policy) which will be shared with you before or during your first session.
Note: I do not give extensive advice or do therapy over text or by email. If you need to talk between appointments please feel free to schedule an additional appointment during the week.
